Castine Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to providing the Town of Castine, Maine Maritime Academy and its surrounding communities with expedient and professional emergency response management, fire suppression, education and fire prevention services with a primary focus on the preservation of life and the protection of property. This is accomplished through a continuous program of training and the maintenance of an inventory of up to date equipment. CVFD continues to proudly serve as a vital, all volunteer organization made up of dedicated members of the community.
